MODULE ONE: THE SPIRITUAL HELPER

How do you become a spiritual support to your husband without taking on inappropriate responsibility?

We’ll talk about tending to your own spiritual health, encouraging rather than constantly critiquing, fighting fear of man, handling friendships and confidences wisely, remembering the genuine blessings of ministry life, and resisting the pressure to become a de facto church officer.

Your husband doesn’t need you to carry the church on your shoulders.

He needs a wife who fears God, loves him, and knows how to stand beside him boldly, "not fearing anything that is frightening."

MODULE TWO: THE PRACTICAL HELPER

Then we get extremely practical.

We’ll talk about building a family schedule that protects the things that matter, creating real rhythms of work and rest, managing money faithfully, raising children in the midst of ministry demands, making room for hospitality and enjoyment, and deciding which ministry responsibilities actually belong on your plate in this particular season.

You do not have to have someone else’s personality, gifts, home, ministry—or job description.

The question is much simpler:

How can you faithfully help the particular man you married, care for the particular family God gave you, and serve the particular church He has placed in front of you?

That is what this course is about. Not becoming the unofficial church secretary. Not fulfilling every individual expectatation or responding to every individual need yourself.

Just becoming a steadier, wiser, more joyful helper—while remembering that Christ is the one building His church.
